Our Duracast Markers are proven to offer fantastic abrasion and UV resistance. The text will remain clear and the colours vibrant for years to come.
The base is made from a proprietary opaque white plastic which contains U.V. inhibitors and a layering of materials for flexibility and impact resistance. The printing is on the surface of the material which is then covered with our SolarShield™ clear coat for added U.V. resistance.
In addition a polyurethane "dome" is applied to the face of the marker. This optically clear, self-healing, non-yellowing, surface protects against mechanical and chemical abrasion. The Duracast surface effectively doubles U.V. resistance as well.

Tested: Stock Duracast Titles all colours reflective & non-reflective.
Testing Mechanism: QUV WeatherometerCycle: 4 hours UVA at peak emission at 60°C followed by 4 hours of condensation at 50°C.
Duration: 2,000 Hours.
Results Summary: "None of the exposed Duracast samples showed any signs of fading when compared to the unexposed samples and the Duracast finish did not yellow or cloud."

Manufacturer's Warranty All of our markers are covered against defects by the manufacturer's 12 year warranty. Additionally every marker carries a part number and a lot number for quality control purposes.
